Your new company
A global hedge fund and alternate investment management business, with an office presence in multiple locations. The business is continuing its impressive global expansion and has diversified its offering to include its digital and crypto orientated platforms.

Your new role
A newly created Employment Lawyer position reporting into the global HR lead, as part of a high-performance, internationally focused team. Focused largely on non-contentious and advisory matters, the successful candidate will draft industry-typical but highly complex employment contracts, advise on critical employment law and employee relations matters and provide bespoke specialist training across the organisation. The business regularly acquires other companies, therefore the employment law team will be busy working with HR on TUPE, integration and other business-critical matters. You will regularly work with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced employment lawyer qualified in England & Wales and trained a top law firm, with in-house experience in the financial services sector (hedge fund, investment bank/manager, bank, etc.). You will have a proven track record in advising a complex finance business on equally complex employment law issues, while drafting relevant employment policies, contracts and other documentation. You will need to be in the Central London offices 3-4 days per week.
