Associate

In this Associate role you will be:

• Managing a highly complex caseload within the commercial and residential development property team
•  Developing and maintaining good client relationships
•  Participating in marketing activities
•  Supervising junior members of the team

The ideal Associate:

•  Qualified Solicitor (or CILEX with broad experience and a keen interest in commercial property)
•  Ideally experience in commercial and residential development work
•  Analytical and detail focused with strong sense of commercial awareness
•  Supervision experience and proven track record in developing junior team members
•  Strong team player
•  Ability to manage complex caseloads and work under pressure

One of the UK's leading, regional, full-service law firms with a strong presence in the East Midlands is recruiting for an experienced real estate solicitor at associate level to join their Derby team.

The Team

Join a Legal 500 Tier 1 real estate team in Derby led by a Chambers ranked partner who specialises is commercial and residential development.

The team is often instructed to advise residential development sites comprising conditional contracts, option agreements, promotion agreements, collaboration agreements and all manner of infrastructure and planning documents. They also undertake similar work in the commercial sector but including forward funding and investment agreements, joint ventures and project management structures.
