JOB TITLE: Insurance Litigation Solicitor
PQE: 5+ years
LOCATION: London
SALARY: £75,000 - £95,000 DOE

THE ROLE:
This is a varied role specialising in insurance litigation, which includes claims relating to financial institutions, IFA’s, and Directors & Officers. The team undertakes a variety of challenging, largely contentious work. This includes defending claims against a variety of professional advisors such as financial advisors, accountants, architects, insurance brokers and solicitors. You will predominantly liaising with clients in relation to issues of liability and coverage, liaising with insurer and clients, experts, witnesses, counsel and other parties, whilst proactively managing your own caseload with limited supervision.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Solicitor will have at least 5+ years’ PQE (or equivalent) with experience of insurance litigation and policy coverage analysis (essential), together with knowledge of professional risk claims (especially IFA’s and accountants) and an understanding of commercial insurance policies and the insurance market. You will need to be able to manage and adhere to deadlines whilst working under pressure. Excellent IT, communication and time management and legal and analytical skills are essential together with being a team player.
