A global 500 Law Firm is seeking a Contentious Insurance and Financial Services Lawyer to join their contentious insurance and financial services department in their London office, to carry out work relating to contentious regulatory matters involving the FCA and other regulatory bodies, commercial litigation for financial services firms, general insurance coverage and commercial disputes.

Description

The Contentious Insurance and Financial Services Lawyer key responsibilities includes, but not limited to:

• Providing advice and analysis on a variety of policy wordings including Professional indemnity, Construction, Employer's liability D&O and Cyber Liability

• Acting for insurers and financial institutions on a broad spectrum of commercial disputes and arbitration

• Representing financial institutions, Officers, Directors in regulatory investigations and defence claims

• Acting for commercial policyholders on a range of contentious insurance matters

Profile

The ideal Contentious Insurance and Financial Services Lawyer will:

• Have Excellent academics

• Be currently working as a Contentious Insurance and Financial Services Lawyer with experience in dealing with complex litigation cases

• Be commercially aware

• Have a desire to work on complex litigation matters

• Be 2-7 years PQE
