THE ROLE:
This leading, national firm is looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their national team, in their Cambridge office. You will undertake a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious work for the firm’s growing client-base of advising employers. The role will be varied, and the appointed Employment Lawyer can expect to deal with diverse client base of employer clients in the commercial, charities and the higher education sectors. The top ranked team is keen to appoint a Senior Level Employment Lawyer to deal with a broad caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment work.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Employment Lawyer will possess solid business development credentials in terms of growth from existing clients and bringing in new work. You should have strong technical competence and legal knowledge in all aspects of employment law and be comfortable with delivering high quality and commercially focussed advice. Experience in managing Employment Tribunal litigation is essential as is the ability to advise clients on a range of employee matters and carry out supervision of junior lawyers. Ideal Employment Lawyers will have experience of drafting contracts of employment, settlement agreements as well as undertaking due diligence. The appointed Employment Lawyer will have in excess of 5 years PQE and be looking for a supportive and progressive practice who are committed to the development to their staff.
