Our client is a leading international law firm who are looking for Law Graduates or those with prior paralegal experience to join their in house risk team.
The Law Graduate/ Paralegal role is based in Sheffield, this role will form part of the risk & compliance function and be responsible for:
Conducting client focused risk assessments with regard to International AML/Counter Terrorist Financing Legislation
- Screen new and existing clients as well as any adverse/other parties against Sanctions lists and identifying links to Politically Exposed Persons.
The successful individual will have the following experience:
- Previous experience working in a commercial/law environment would be beneficial but not mandatory.
- Experience in a compliance/risk management role would be an advantage and candidates with extensive research and analysis experience will also be considered.
