The Role

This Top 100 UK law firm is seeking a Solicitor with experience in insurance/reinsurance litigation to join at the Senior Associate Level.

You will be joining an experienced team that is well versed in dealing a broad range of disputes. The firm is well known for handling all aspects of commercial dispute resolution and litigation - advising on cases across every tier of the English court system, from County Court level to the Supreme Court.

In this role you will act on a mixture of insurance and reinsurance coverage and claims work. This will include acting on cross-border matters for clients such as insurers/reinsurers, brokers, intermediaries and policy holders.

Other work will involve acting on general commercial contract disputes, professional negligence claims, insurance market disputes and regulatory/civil fraud work.

As this is a mid-senior level position you will provide vital support to the Partners in the team as well as assisting in the training and supervision of junior fee earners. You will benefit from excellent cross-referral work and exciting prospects for progression.

As this is a Senior Position you will take on an active role in the team's business development as well as provide training and supervision to more junior fee earners.

This position would suit an ambitious solicitor looking to progress their career within a Top 100 practice ranked highly across the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.

Requirements

• England & Wales qualified solicitor with 4-6 years PQE
• Experienced litigator with exposure to insurance work
• Comfortable with client contact
• Able to independently run own files
