Industrial disease paralegal (Pre-litigated or litigated) - Coventry - This leading industrial disease team is looking for a paralegal or litigation executive to assist an experienced fee earner within the team who undertakes complex, hourly rate Noise Induced Hearing Loss ("NIHL") work. Role in more detail
The successful applicant will be 'buddied up' with an experienced industrial disease lawyer handling a caseload of technical fast track and multi-track work. As an assisting fee earner, you will carry out a range of delegated tasks such as:
- Drafting court documents
- Attending telephone hearings and gaining experience in other aspects of advocacy
- Evidence analysis including witness statements, medical records, employment histories etc
- Reporting to clients
- Instructing and liaising with Counsel as well as expert witnesses
- Preparation of bundles for trial
You will be under the wing of a highly talented and experienced industrial disease lawyer, developing a highly transferable skill set.
