The Role

The firm are looking for a Commercial Litigation Senior Associate to join their flourishing Leeds office in the heart of the City (home/flexible working models are available).

You will sit as part of the wider Commercial Litigation team, working on a varied and interesting caseload. The type of work you will carry out on a day to day basis will include but is not limited to; banking & finance disputes, company & contract disputes, partnership & shareholder disputes, property and professional negligence.

You will be provided with the tools to develop your technical knowledge and contribute to the profitability of the Commercial Litigation team in a friendly and supportive environment.

This opportunity comes with excellent prospects for progression as it is a developing role to support the firm's growing Commercial Litigation caseload; senior positions at the firm are well within reach for the right candidate.

Requirements

• You will be a Commercial Litigation Solicitor with ideally 6+ years PQE
• If you are from a more general litigation background, you will have a caseload that is at least 50% property litigation
• You will have a strong technical knowledge and good communication skills
• You will have good experience of dealing with large settlements
• You will have strong business development capabilities
