The Role

Banking and Finance Lawyer to join Band 1 & Tier 1 team within Bristol Top 50 firm

Working with banks, building societies and other financial institutions (over 50 in total), alongside numerous PLCs and large corporates, the team advises on debt transactions valued up to £1B for borrowers, lenders and sponsors based domestically and overseas.

With the broadest work diet outside of the City, the team focuses on Real Estate and Energy/Projects, Corporate Lending, Structured/Leveraged/Asset-backed Finance and Derivatives, as examples - a real mix, whilst nurturing niches within the team.

The purpose of the hire is to support continued growth, as the team secures more work from the City and promotes those internally.

  • NQ+ (no PQE ceiling) within Banking and Finance (open to those historically Real Estate focused, now seeking a broader practice)
  • Passion for your work, commitment to progression and alignment to core values of the firm
  • Strong commercial acumen
