Are you an experienced, skilled Senior Property Lawyer looking for a Fixed-Term Contract within a well-respected London Borough Council?
Our London Borough client is looking for a Senior Property Lawyer to join their team for a 1 year fixed-term contract, with potential to extend. The successful Senior Property Lawyer will have extensive experience of providing professional legal advice on all aspects of property related development work. Our client is looking for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, FILEX or equivalent. Local government experience is desirable, but property lawyers with experience in other relevant sectors will also be considered. Advocacy experience is also desirable, however not essential.
The responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:
- Providing legal guidance, expert knowledge and assistance on property development work
- Conduct a caseload of residential and commercial property, regeneration, homeownership and land transactions
- Undertake advocacy in Courts or Tribunals, if required
On offer is the chance to work on some exciting existing and upcoming projects within the Borough, whilst being paid a competitive annual salary. Hybrid working allows for the successful applicant to work remotely majority of the time, whilst building solid relationships with their colleagues, allowing for a great work-life balance.
We encourage interested applicants to apply immediately to be considered for short listing. Alternatively, should you require further information or wish to discuss your suitability before applying please contact Brogan Connolly in our Manchester office for a confidential discussion.
