ISDA Negotiator & Commercial Contracts Specialist - Brokerage firm

Our client, a major financial brokerage located in the city of London are looking to hire an experienced ISDA negotiator and master documentation specialist to also work on commercial contract and transactional matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• To draft, review and negotiate the full suite of Master Documentation, particularly related to the trade of securities and capital markets transactions. These will primarily be ISDA agreements but also GMRA, GMSLA and CSA documents.
• Advise the business and rest of the legal team on all matters related to master documentation, taking a lead on all ISDA-related legal work.
• Assist the legal team, where necessary, on a range of general commercial legal matters. Particularly draft and review of supplier and vendor contracts, and outsourcing agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must have strong experience negotiating and reviewing ISDA agreements and related master documents. Must have confidence handling these matters autonomously with limited help from the legal team.
• Must have an interest in commercial law, ideally has already had some experience drafting commercial contracts and working on commercial transactions.
• Being a qualified lawyer is preferred but not essential.
