Commercial Counsel with Litigation

A well-established company specialising in the operation of private education is looking for a qualified solicitor to join them as commercial counsel, on a permanent basis, which will include a small amount of litigation work.

You will have solid commercial experience. The ability to draft, negotiate and review various commercial agreements is essential. You will report to the senior commercial counsel, and you will have at least 2 junior staff reporting to you. There will be a small amount of litigation involved in this role (roughly 20% of the job) so you must also be able to deal with contentious issues from start to finish.

PQE Requirement:  You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years working on commercial contracts in private practice from a reputable city, or nationally recognised law firm.

This job is fully remote, and the hours of work are 9am-6pm, however once every 2-3 months you will be asked to attend the office, which is based in central London. Please note this is non-negotiable and must be agreed to.

This is a permanent role with the salary set at £70,000.
