Commercial Litigation Manager Job, Leading International Firm - Remote Working Role

Your new firm
This international law firm has an excellent reputation for its disputes work. They are currently seeking an experienced commercial disputes solicitor or barrister at Manager level to join their team, working 100% remotely from home. You will be supervising and training teams of senior solicitors, solicitors and paralegals within the commercial litigation team, who are handling a broad range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, dealing with excellent quality and high calibre work. The firm can provide genuine flexibility in terms of home and agile working; as such this is a rare proposition in the current market for litigators looking for flexibility, with no billable hours targets!

Your new role
Working within a team noted as being one of the leaders in its field, you will be conducting and managing the delivery of fee-earning work, supervising teams conducting fee earning projects. You will also have the opportunity to pick up any complex cases yourself. The team act for household name clients and enjoy a varied diet of disputes work. You will have line management responsibility for both senior and junior members of staff and will conduct QC checks on fee earning work. You will have primary responsibility for communication with the internal or external clients, and will scope, set up, train and price in relation to fee earning projects.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for solicitors or barristers with 5+ years PQE experience in commercial litigation matters; candidates with experience in clinical or professional negligence are also encouraged to apply. Experience of managing project teams including direct reports, managing large scale disclosure exercises in litigation or contentious regulatory and experience in the use of document review software is preferred. Availability on short notice would be a distinct advantage. A proven track record of successfully scoping and managing volume claims (including remediation projects and portfolios of Disputes) and budgeting and resource allocation experience, as well as the use of case management software would be desirable. Candidates must be UK-based to be eligible for this opportunity.
