NQ-4 PQE Lawyer, Investment Manager

THE CLIENT

A leading investment manager ( with well over $100bn in AUM) are looking for an NQ-4 PQE Lawyers to join their legal team.

This is a unique opportunity for a junior lawyer to join an organisation known in the market for its innovative approach to investment management. From day one, you will have exposure to all parts of the business and also be given the opportunity to make your own mark in a unique way.

THE ROLE

You will be supporting the European and Latin America business on a range of legal matters. Some of your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements such as distribution agreements, investment management agreements, broker terms, platform agreements with clients in various jurisdictions
• Also looking at a range of commercial agreements
• Providing advice on financial services regulation affecting their business activities including but not limited to MiFID II, AIFMD
• Liaising and instructing external counsel when required

THE CANDIDATE

• All lawyers at the NQ-4* year PQE are all encouraged to apply! You would ideally be from a private practice firm or from financial services
• An understanding of funds is a plus but not a prerequisite
• This individual will have the right attitude, aptitude, passion and resilience to work in a fast paced and highly rewarding environment

*Candidates outside the PQE range with the prerequisite experience would be considered for the role.
