Sellick Partnership is currently working with a well-respected Local Authority who is seeking a Childcare Lawyer. This assignment can be conducted remotely or on a hybrid basis.

As a Childcare Lawyer, you will apply your knowledge and experience to pick up a busy caseload and hit the ground running

The Childcare Lawyer will pick up duties which may include;

  • Hold a busy caseload of care cases and pre-proceedings matters
  • Advise social workers
  • PLOs
  • Liaise with counsel and external parties
  • Attending meetings
  • Draft applications and documents

The council are a fantastic team with a great reputation; the Childcare Lawyer will feel welcomed and supported.

Prior experience in childcare law is essential while local authority experience is desirable. The Childcare Lawyer may have to pick up advocacy and attend in-person hearings in Lincolnshire.
