I have partnered up with a leading international law firm who is looking for a Compliance Analyst to join their office in the City of London. Role has a dual focus on Conflicts of Interest and AML.

My client is a leading international law firm in the City of London.

Description

Key responsibility of the role is to support the Compliance Function with new business intake. The role requires a
dedicated Compliance Analyst who will primarily support one of the Firm's key divisions.

Role and responsibilities:

• carrying out CDD on a full range of clients including individuals, companies and trusts
• analysing CDD material provided by clients and advising whether further information is needed to complete the CDD process
• carrying out risk assessments at client inception
• carrying out research to establish whether there is any adverse press about a prospective client and
  assessing its relevance
• carrying out searches against the HM Treasury consolidated sanctions list (sanctions screening)
  
  

Profile

The successful Compliance Analyst will ideally be someone who has worked in a similar role before. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deal with clients, partners, fee earners and support staff. They are highly organised and capable of managing conflicting priorities and deadlines.
