Private Client Associate, Central London
Our client is looking for a Private Client Associate to join their Private Client & Tax Group. The Group forms part of the firm's wider Private Capital Group initiative and provides a comprehensive service to a varied and interesting client base. The clients are wealthy individuals, family offices, trustees, financial institutions and established businesses and start-ups. Many are connected to the technology, finance, entertainment, media and sports sectors. They are based both in the UK and internationally and our client has a particular strength in clients connected with the Middle East and the US.
This represents an exciting opportunity for the right individual to become involved in all areas of the firm's Private Client & Tax practice. The Private Capital Group is a fast-growing part of the firm and has a strong reputation within the private client market (Band 2 Chambers & Partners HNW 2022). The role will be complex and wide-ranging, encompassing the following types of work:
Sought after is a 1-4 year' PQE solicitor who is qualified in England & Wales with excellent academic credentials, high quality training and ideally experience with a firm with a strong private client practice.
Candidates do not need to have experience already of all of the types of work outlined above but will need to be enthusiastic about the role, have a keen interest in the area of law and be willing to provide support and assistance to the Partners and Senior Associates in all areas of Private Client & Tax work.
High quality candidates wishing to transfer from related areas of law (in particular corporate tax) will also be considered.

- CTA qualified or, if not, have the desire to undertake the CTA in the near future
- Technically strong with very good commercial judgment
- Able to think and act independently but know when to ask for help and take instruction
- Welcomes direct exposure to clients
- Enthusiastic, confident, sociable and self-motivated with common sense
- Keen to get involved with business development for the wider Private Client & Tax Group
