An exciting opportunity for a Construction Paralegal looking to take their legal career in-house and broaden their portfolio. This roles works to support the business in dealing with a broad spectrum of matters and ad hoc legal queries both internally and externally.

- Dealing with collateral warranties and other ancillary documents - drafting, collating and organising multiple warranties on numerous projects;

- Assisting with title due diligence and reporting, including the submission, collation and review of searches and enquiries;

- Administrative tasks to support the legal team

- Updating in house data management system

- Draft legal documents, including letters, notices, collateral warranties, minor works building contracts and other documents

- Monitor the status of projects with the use of appropriate trackers and providing regular updates on matter progress;

- Knowledge sharing, training, assisting and preparing updates for clients and the team, legal research, input into pitch documents and tendering exercises etc.

Profile

- You must have prior experience with construction contracts, gained either in-house or in private practice.

- Strong academic background.

- Ability to work under pressure, complete multiple assignments and function effectively in a high volume workplace necessitating a high degree of accuracy.

- Good knowledge of legislation, case law and legal drafting relevant to the role.

- Strong organisational skills.

- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.

- Experience working with a large caseload.
