Our client, a major global Financial Institution, are looking to hire an experienced and highly capable structured finance and derivatives lawyer to join their legal team for a maternity leave cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working across the investment banking division, and the securities services department - this role will involve drafting and negotiating transactional documentation, and providing transactional support across the whole suite of transactions.
- Assist primarily with Derivatives trades, but also Project & Asset Finance and Swaps, Repos & Hedging transactions.
- To advise on legal and regulatory issues related to the trade of structured products, and provide ongoing risk management advice to the business and legal teams.
Key Requirements:
- Must be a qualified lawyer, with at least 2 years' PQE.
- Must have at least 2 years' practice with the primary focus on either Derivatives, Structured Finance, Structured Products or Banking & Finance.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and to be able to start within 3 months.
