This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, friendly and supportive marketing team within the London office of one of our prestigious law firm clients.

As the primary contact for driving a diverse range of events this role will focus on high profile/marquee events (both virtual and in-person) across the London office to ensure the best possible client experience.

The role will typically cover the "life cycle" of events, from conception through to delivery (including budget management and post event evaluation). Our client is looking for an exceptionally organized individual with creative and innovative ideas who can help build on best practice for this ever growing office. This is a role with a high amount of visibility, engaging with clients, partners, key stakeholders and third party suppliers.

A flexible attitude with the ability to prioritise and meet multiple deadlines are prerequisite. Knowledge of major London venues and local event suppliers is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Manage the organisation of events and webinars from start to finish, including marketing through our website and social media platforms (where appropriate); collating responses; material preparation and hosting (both virtual and in-person)Manage the firm's participation in external conferences (in-person or virtual)Maintain up-to-date event and wider mailing lists through firm's contact management systemDevelop "best practice" approach for London events, and to constantly appraise/refresh recommended venues and client entertainment conceptsOwn and co-ordinate the supply of events merchandise and marketing materials such as printed collateral, gifts and other support materialsOwn the post events analysis process for events including capturing feedback and evaluation of ROIAssist with the management of event budgetsCoordinate with Marketing Creative Services in applying brand standards, using firm templates, preparing files for print productions, and performing press checks.

The candidate

Previous events experience, minimum of five yearsExcellent organisation, planning and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to multi taskExcellent IT skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM databases (Salesforce an advantage)


EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

5+ years of relevant experience in professional services marketing

Strong knowledge of core marketing principles including campaign management, client relationship management, event best practice, and use of social media

Emotional intelligence, influencing and communication skills, and project management experience

Excellent English language skills
