Competition Law Solicitor - Private Practice - City of London


We have been instructed by a Top 10 City firm, who are seeking to recruit an ambitious Competition Lawyer to join their busy, and expanding, team.

Clients of this highly regarded team include governments, leading developers and financiers, many of whom are household names. The team is ranked Band 1 by Chambers & Partners and Tier 1 by the Legal 500.

The Team

The Competition, Regulation and Trade group is consistently rated as one of the leading practices in its field, with a team of lawyers based in Europe (London, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Madrid, Paris, and Moscow), Asia and across Australia. Amongst their clients are leading financial institutions, top Fortune and FTSE companies from all industry sectors, regulatory bodies and national governments.

The team covers the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious competition, regulation and trade work globally, including:

· competition litigation (private enforcement and appeals)
· cartel and other behavioural investigations
· merger control
· antitrust advice
· regulatory matters
· state aid, public procurement, WTO and trade


The Role

You will have the responsibility of handling own caseload, encompassing the full range of competition work plus fantastic exposure to the most complex and high value work when supporting partners / the team on larger projects

The Candidate

You will have a solid grounding in Competition law.
A strong academic record is a must.
