Part-Exchange Conveyancer

A highly-respected national firm is looking for a part exchange conveyancer to join them in their Residential Development Team, based in Birmingham.

- Act for national and regional housebuilders, promoters and institutional landowners


THE ROLE

As a part exchange conveyancer in the team, you will be dealing with a wide range of transactions including Leasehold and Unregistered properties bought and sold by way of part exchange by national housebuilders as part of their plot sales procedure.

This conveyancing role will involve drafting and sending out part exchange paperwork, dealing with pre-contract enquiries, reviewing and reporting on title and searches, negotiating and exchanging contracts and dealing with completions. It will also include post-completion formalities, including SDLT and Land Registry registrations.

The firm's clients require Part Exchange transactions to be dealt with quickly and efficiently, so your caseload will reflect these quick turnaround times.


ABOUT YOU

- You will be an experienced conveyancer with Part Exchange experience
- You will have your own caseload and be able to work with minimal supervision
- You will have experience of sending out plot sale paperwork from the case management system, dealing with pre contract enquiries, exchanging contracts and dealing with completions
