Commercial Property Associate - Manchester
Commercial Property Solicitor / Associate - This is a newly-established commercial real estate team in Manchester of a leading international firm. They are looking for two ambitious Associates at NQ level to join to support the more experienced lawyers within the team.
A number of factors make these opportunities unique. Not least the fact it was only recently established and, as such, offers a real chance to grow with the department as it expands. Furthermore, there is a real entrepreneurial feeling about the team. Though the Manchester offering is part of a far larger operation, the culture and spirit of the team is that of a specialist, boutique practice. The successful candidates with enjoy exposure and involvement in some of the most innovative and impactful real estate deals in the UK involving some of the most exciting clients.
Role Summary

- Previous Experience: Role involves everything from landlord and tenant work to acquisitions / disposals and 'big-ticket' development work. The client is looking broadly and is keen to hear from lawyers who want exposure to a broad range of work. Clients include major PLCs and 'blue chip' companies.

- Working with innovative hotel and leisure brand to acquire land to build out site with highly sustainable, low environment impact leisure facility.
- Advising new entrant into UK retail market keen to disrupt and reimagine traditional retail concepts.
- Advising major global home improvement company on regearing exercise involving significant lease portfolio.
