Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – All Remote Working – Up to £55 per hour Umbrella – West Midlands

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with an ambitious Local Authority in the West Midlands who are recruiting for a Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their department.

Expected duration: 3 - 6 months

Hourly rate: Up to £55 per hour umbrella

Skill level: Qualified Lawyer (Solicitors and Barristers and CILEX Fellows)

Working pattern: Remote Working + Full Time

(Please note that candidates that have the relevant experience but only can work on a part time basis may also be considered)

Duties may include:

• Reviewing reports for Executive and Non-Executive committees
• Drafting new catering agreements for various educational establishments
• Building and maintaining relationships with other colleagues within the Local Authority
• Proactively working to support the team and provide training to junior members
• Drafting relevant contracts for developmental projects within the local area
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders thus negotiating with them where necessary
• Ensuring all relevant regulatory procedures are carried out hence providing advice when required

An attractive hourly rate of up to £55 Umbrella is offered for this position dependant on experience.
