An exciting new legal role has arisen to work in the lending business of a top tier investment bank and to provide legal and regulatory support across multiple jurisdictions.
The successful candidate will be assisting with legal and regulatory aspects of credit facility documentation, including lending documentation, drafting and reviewing documentation for bespoke loan covenants and unsecured loans. You will be working closely with the different business teams, as well as legal and compliance functions and external counsel. You will also provide advice for private client lending, ensuring banking and credit regulatory changes are monitored and communicated to all key stakeholders.
You will have excellent working knowledge of UK banking regulations and experience of providing legal support to a bank or firm with credit/lending permissions, though private client lending would be desirable. Experience with loan and security documentation is essential.
