In-House Commercial Solicitor

In-House Commercial Solicitor - Buckinghamshire (hybrid working).

This is a fantastic opportunity to join this well known Retail firm as their in-house solicitor.  This is a varied role which will primarily involve drafting, reviewing and negotiating on commercial contracts across all areas - retail suppliers, service providers etc...

You will be expected to lead on all trading law matters, work with external lawyers as required on the more complex litigations or very complex contracts, act as Company Secretary and ensure they are always fully compliant with company law and good governance, manage and develop their in-house Trainee Solicitor, be the key point of contact to drive projects forward with multiple stakeholders and identify areas for improvements in existing processes.  

You will be able to work autonomously and therefore it is anticipated that you will have at least 5 years PQE and have a strong background in commercial contracts.  An in-house or a private practice background will be considered but you will ideally have experience within the Retail sector or dealing with Retail clients.  Any management/supervisory experience would be a distinct advantage.

This role is based in Buckinghamshire but offers hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office and 3 days from home.
