Professional Indemnity Solicitor | Manchester | £55,000 - £85,000
A Manchester-based defendant law firm is seeking a Professional Indemnity Solicitor to join their growing team. Focusing on professional indemnity with a focus on lawyers’ liability, this role offers the right candidate a chance to further their legal career, learning from and working with the best.
The Role:
As the new Professional Indemnity Solicitor you will:
- Be dealing with concerns defending claims against a wide variety of professional service providers' insurance policy coverage; insurance and reinsurance disputes; and claims relating to construction, property damage, cyber and aviation
About You:
- The firm is looking for someone with 5+ PQE and experience in insurance litigation and policy coverage
- Experience with professional risk claims relating to solicitors and barristers is essential (experience of professional risk claims in other areas is highly desirable)
- An understanding of commercial insurance policies, the insurance market, reporting arrangements, reserving philosophies, and the relationship between brokers, underwriters/insurers and lawyers is crucial
