Public Law Associate/Senior Associate 3PQE+

Our client is a leading public law firm seeking to recruit an associate or senior associate to join their public inquiries team.

The team works for clients in the public sectors acting on behalf of high-profile governmental inquiries, including sensitive matters of national security or public interest. 

The role would likely include the following tasks:

• Advising on investigation, Inquiries and regulatory law;
• Managing complex, large-scale projects, including involvement in delivery of large-scale disclosure/information management exercises and document-heavy review processes;
• Public law decision making and disputes (including complaints and judicial review challenges).

You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE. Previous experience of public inquiry work representing a core participant and or acting for the inquiry itself would be preferred but not essential.

You will be a solicitor with project management skills with experience of either managing large scale disclosure exercises or working on large scale projects in commercial litigation is essential.

You will have a proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work within a team.
