Senior Counsel

In House Legal Counsel - FMCG Brand 5 PQE + - West Midlands (hybrid)

Our client is one of biggest names in FMCG globally and has a huge portfolio of some of the most recognisable brands in the world. It is looking for a Legal Counsel with a strong commercial contracts background to advise on matters in EMEA and Asia, which will play a key role in ensuring the business expands into new international markets.

Reporting into the Legal Director, you will be the lead on a variety of matters such as:

· General commercial contracts relating to procurement, manufacturing, sales and licensing, distribution and logistics.
· Advising on marketing, advertising, promotions and IP matters
· Advising on regulatory, compliance and competition issues
· delivering training to the business and legal operations in place
· managing more junior members of the team

This role is suitable for someone wanting a high degree out autonomy and the ability to be at the sharp end of advising key stakeholders on matters which have significant impact on the business. Alternatively, if you are looking to make your first move in house, then this is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to a range of generalist commercial matters within an exciting sector.

The package includes the base salary, 10% performance related bonus, pension, 25 days holiday and private healthcare.
