Technical Director, Payment Services

We are recruiting for a leading Consultancy firm looking to hire a Director Level Consultant to provide technical expertise on regulatory requirements relating to payment services in line with FCA requirements. This is a great opportunity to join a continually expanding consultancy business.

Main Responsibilities

Provide technical compliance support to the company's clients within a range of projects and engagements.

Provide expert support and guidance on payment services matters

Raise and maintain the business profile as a leading compliance consultancy in the payment services sector through speaking at conferences and writing articles for publication on the company and other websites

Support junior colleagues in their work and through their professional development through coaching and mentoring

Responsibility for own client projects from beginning to end, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work, and making it happen.

Discussing client needs, with a broad focus on regulation, being a trusted adviser though our knowledge and skills base in all financial regulatory compliance and risk area related matters

Job Requirements:

Appropriate professional qualifications are highly desirable, which might include any of ACA, ACCA, LLM, MBA and industry qualifications

At least 10 years Payment Services regulatory experience working in-house or at another consultancy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
