Home based / London office c2 days a week)

The Company
Integrum Renewable Energy is a rapidly scaling, developer of large scale solar and battery storage projects, specialising in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from project origination and feasibility assessment to financing, delivery and maintenance.
We are part of the Integrum Power group of companies specialising in high voltage engineering power. Our staff have over 25 years expertise in development and delivery of renewable energy projects both in the UK and overseas.
As we look to rapidly scale the business, we are now looking to hire our first in-house legal counsel to play a key role supporting the senior management team.
The Role
This is an enviable opportunity for an ambitious, entrepreneurial lawyer to develop the in-house legal department and support the Directors with key commercial and solution orientated advice. Drawing on your commercial property experience you will work closely with the Head of Estates and Development and Commercial Director on land acquisitions whilst ensuring robust processes and governance are in place across the business. This will include drafting and negotiating option agreements, easements leases and undertaking due diligence on these projects.
As the projects move through planning and enter construction phase you will have the opportunity to develop your legal knowledge coordinating the full project lifecycle (Development, Project Finance M&A, EPC and O&M) with the full support of external counsel.
In time, there will also be the opportunity to build and develop the legal team and support the wider group of companies.
About you
You will be a qualified solicitor (England & Wales) either working in-house or in private practice with real estate development experience ideally gained within the renewables sector. You will be a commercial, solutions oriented lawyer who will appreciate the challenges of working for a fast paced, rapidly scaling business together with the ambition to develop your career alongside the opportunities this role and business will provide.
In return
You will be offered a competitive salary, pension, 8% employer, bonus and long term incentives. Fantastic opportunity for career development. Full support / integration with a highly regarded, ambitious, entrepreneurial senior management team.
Please note that this assignment is being handled exclusively by our retained search consultants Mack Legal and all direct or third party applications will be forwarded to them for consideration.
