They have grown substantially over the last 10 years to a turnover of £65m and over 800 employees across multiple sites and have a strong business plan of further future growth and development.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Solicitor to join the Commercial Property team in London.  We are looking for a 1-6 year PQE Solicitor or Associate who will work in a varied commercial property role.

The team cover everything from City centre locations to rural development, and small shops to major London offices, All types of projects including nursing homes, factories, pubs, hotels and schools. The business can enable you to specialise and help develop you to be an expert in these key markets. 

The post involves

  • Advise on a range of issues across the breadth of Commercial Real Estate, including but not limited to investment acquisitions and disposals, commercial leases and management, funding of development sites, conditional sale agreements, option and overage agreements and overarching sale agreements.
  • Advise and provide support on multi-million pound property and corporate acquisitions.
  • Manage some residential property transactions
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on issues within Commercial Property, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team to share knowledge.
  • Develop opportunities for referral of work across the business and actively participate in business development opportunities.

Specification

  • Ideally 1-6 years PQE
  • A solid grounding in commercial property with experience of a varied workload
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
  • Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
  • Can demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
