Insolvency Associate | Manchester | Salary Dependent on Experience 

Join the restructuring and insolvency team of a Legal 500 law firm in their Manchester office, as their new Insolvency Associate.

Recognised as leaders in their field, you will be working with a close-knit team of Partners and Lawyers, advising a large client base including banks, corporate clients, accountants and other stakeholders and creditors on the full spectrum of corporate restructuring and insolvency matters such as:

• Restructurings
• Corporate Insolvency
• Distressed Lending
• Security enforcement
• Directors' duties

The Role and Responsibilities:

• As the new Insolvency Associate you will have a diverse caseload covering all aspects of insolvency litigation, including bankruptcy & liquidation litigation, negligence claims, defending director disqualification proceedings, and administrations
• As an experienced Solicitor, you will also have the opportunity to supervise the junior members of the team and get involved in business development

Candidate Requirements:

• The firm is looking to hire a candidate who is looking to progress to Partnership
• The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years' PQE in a reputable team, with a proven track record in corporate restructuring work
• Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
• Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• Professional and effective communication with team members and contacts
