JOB TITLE: Employment Lawyer – Settlement Agreements

SALARY: up to c£35,500 (£DOE)

THE ROLE:
The successful Employment Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to claimants from across a variety of industries. The postholder duties will include, negotiating the terms of settlement agreements, undertaking legal research, liaising with various internal and external parties and producing written materials such as fact sheets. You will have the opportunity to develop your career with this specialist firm and gain exposure to quality work.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors or Legal Executives who will have gained a minimum 2 years’ experience in handling their own mixed caseload of employment matters, with particular focus on settlement agreements. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong negotiation skills are essential. Applicants must have the ability to prioritise, strong file management skills along with good verbal and written communication skills.
