We have an exciting opportunity for a Family Solicitor to join an international law firm and be a part of their family department in Manchester

The Firm

About the Role
- You will be expected to handle a mixed caseload of family law related matters namely, divorce, separation; cohabitation; civil partnership disputes, children issues, ancillary relief and financial matters
- You will deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and face to face, in order to provide advice and assistance
- Assist in growing the business – working with the rest of the team to develop new opportunities and communicating our message to attract new clients. This will range from writing articles for the website and publications to attending business networking events and even speaking to a room full of people if you have the skill.
About You
- The successful candidate can expect a high level of autonomy and responsibility from the outset.
- You will ideally be 3 years + PQE and seeking genuine career progression. In addition, you will be passionate about growing and developing our Family Department and generating new business.
- An excellent communicator, orally and written.
- Take pride in providing a high level of customer service and client care
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to win new clients
- A hard worker who wants to develop their legal career and progress quickly
- Always willing to learn and try new things
- Trustworthy and professional
- A team player willing to help out colleagues
