The role

This Top 100 UK law firm is recruiting for a Planning Solicitor (1-3 years PQE) to join them in their City of London office.

You will be encouraged to manage your own caseload and be provided with excellent direct access to clientcontact - far more so than junior solicitors at larger firms.

The team is one of the foremost planning departments in the UK, enabling you to work with an incredibly broad range of clients, advising on a variety of matters.

The team act primarily for major residential developers, registered providers, local planning authorities and landowners - with a national reputation for high-level strategic planning advice on major residential-led schemes, having won multiple awards.

The role will involve negotiating and drafting 106 and infrastructure agreements, assisting with planning appeals, court challenges and enforcement matters. You will also be given the opportunity to engage in business development and help prepare advice on legislative and policy change/reform.

You will receive excellent support and training from some of the best planning solicitors in the country - the firm is known for holding one of the best training programmes in the UK.

Requirements:

• England and Wales qualified solicitor with 1-3 years PQE
