Construction Solicitor - 2+ PQE

An exceptional, rare opportunity for a Construction Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm practicing in the West Yorkshire region.

This commercially minded, award winning Legal 500 law firm have a reputation nationally and internationally for the work that they do across a wide range of disciplines. They are well-known and have been practicing and providing professional advice for decades nationally. They have grown significantly in the past few years and are looking to further expand their team of specialists. You will be working alongside some of the best reputable lawyers in the region for Construction Law.

They provide specialist advice and expertise across all areas of law, and pride themselves on their pragmatic and straightforward approach. They have a broad range of clients that they act for including private individuals all the way up to multi-million pound organisations.

You will be working closely alongside the construction partner. The role covers both contentious and non-contentious matters including advising on, drafting and reviewing standard form contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC), advising on and liaising with commercial property colleagues on property documentation that need construction input and acting on behalf of clients in adjudications , arbitrations and TCC cases.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years PQE+ up to a more senior level and must be articulate and professional. Excellent client management and communication skills are essential in this field of work. You must be commercially minded and is happy to get involved in business development and networking.

The work will be high net worth and complex and you will be advising a variety of clients across both the public and private sectors consisting of just non-contentious construction work.
