The Role:

  • This is a highly rewarding opportunity for an Employment Senior Associate to join the firm's dynamic office in Newcastle, with hybrid working in place
  • The Legal 500 ranked Employment team offer a broad range of services to both commercial and charity clients across the UK, with notable strengths in the Education sector
  • As such, you will manage a diverse caseload covering both contentious and advisory aspects of employment law, including contracts, grievance procedures, tribunal work, TUPE as well as corporate support
  • As a Senior Associate, you will also work alongside the corporate team on business transfers and participate in business development
  • This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda - the firm are succession planning and keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers, providing you with the platform for future partnership

The Ideal Candidate:

  • An experienced Employment Solicitor with a minimum of 7 years PQE
  • Strong business development capabilities
  • First-class communication and an entrepreneurial flair
