THE CLIENT

Our client, a leading investment manager globally, is looking for a Funds Lawyer to join their legal team.

This is a unique opportunity for a lawyer to become a dedicated advisor to their business on a range of matters across multiple jurisdictions.

THE ROLE

This In House Counsel / Lawyer will sit within a market leading legal team, supporting the business on various legal matters.  

The day to day responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating distribution agreements, advising on marketing documentation and distribution regulations,
• Advising on the managed accounts and negotiating investment management agreements;
• Negotiating trading agreements, including derivatives trading agreements
• Advising on legal and regulatory issues relating to their funds platform;
• Liaising and instructing external counsel when required.

THE CANDIDATE

• This role will be ideal for Funds Lawyer from a private practice or in-house background
• An understanding of fund regulations would be advisable for this role
