Senior Legal Counsel

This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to join this market-leading energy company on a 12-month FTC. The business owns an asset which spans the border between the UK and France, requiring vast management, including various legal aspects.

They are seeking a general Commercial lawyer with construction experience.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Legal on a 12- month fixed term arrangement, the company is seeking a Solicitor to join its in-house legal team.

The primary focus of the role is to, with a handover, provide maternity cover as a commercial lawyer and, in particular, offer legal advice and support to the business concerning operations, maintenance and legacy construction arrangements.

This role will be at least a 12-month fixed-term contract, but there are also good prospects for this role to become permanent.

Requirements:

• You will be a Commercial Lawyer with 2-6 years of PQE
• Ideally, you will have construction contracts experience/exposure
• You will work well within a team
• You will be forward-thinking and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary of £80k - £95k depending on experience;
