Legal Services Manager (Commercial Lead) – 3 to 6 Months – Remote Working – East Midlands – £600 to £700 per day

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a Local Authority in East Midlands who are recruiting for a Legal Services Manager to lead their department. The successful candidate will need to be an experienced Legal Lead within the Public Sector, ideally with a Commercial background.

The organisation are ideally seeking someone to take on the position on a full time basis but candidates possessing the relevant experience who can offer 4 days per week may also be considered.

This assignment is offered for a period of 3 - 6 Months  and worked on a remote basis however occasional office working each month would be preferable due to the nature of the role.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting the Assistant Director with the effective management of the Legal team and roll out of a department restructure.
• Effectively liaising with Senior Management
• Acting as a Point of Contact for the Commercial Client department dealing with any team queries and escalations
• Providing advice on matters relating to commercial transactions and delegating work for the commercial team
• Providing clear, high quality advice in written correspondence and meetings, both internal and external

An attractive rate of £ per day Umbrella is offered for this position, dependent on experience.
