THE ROLE:
The successful Senior Prosecutions Lawyer will be responsible for reviewing the most complex of cases for prosecution within this large public sector organisation. The appointed Lawyer will be tasked with providing legal advice for cases at the Crown Court and conducting advocacy in relation to challenging, serious and sensitive cases. As a Senior Prosecutions Lawyer, you will be required to analyse, review, prepare and present to Magistrates’ and Crown Courts and so the ability to demonstrate high levels of advocacy and written & oral communication skills is essential.

THE SENIOR PROSECUTIONS LAWYER:
Applications are sought from Criminal Solicitors or Barristers who possess a minimum of 3 years’ PQE. It is essential that your qualification was gained in England & Wales in order to be considered for this role. With current and broad experience of a range of Criminal work, the appointed Senior Prosecutions Lawyer must be a confident advocate and have extensive knowledge of the legal framework in relation to Criminal Law.
