Construction Senior Associate

Our client are a rapidly growing, national top 100 law firm with exciting plans to develop their construction offering in London with the hire of two Solicitors, one at the senior level and another at the junior level. This is a very opportune time for Solicitors who want to take the reigns of a new & growing department.

The Firm

• £60m turnover across their 4 offices.
• Tier 1 ranked construction team.
• The team advises in the public and private sphere, including central and local government, contractors, housing associations, developers, house builders, funders, high street banks and construction professionals
• Recent work highlights include successfully representing the Welsh Government on its long running dispute with Costain over the 150m A465 & advising on a Supply Agreement in relation to Hinkley Power Station.

The Role:

• The role is exclusively non-contentious work, though there is scope to work on contentious construction matters should you wish.
• Hybrid working available.
• The caseload will typically involve standard construction forms (e.g., JCT and NEC) and some project documentation used in construction/engineering projects.

The Candidate:

• The successful candidate will be familiar with the standard construction forms (e.g., JCT and NEC).
• Candidates with 3+PQE are encouraged to apply.
• Enjoys networking and business development to grow the department.
