Planning Solicitor - Cardiff - NQ-3 PQE

Top ranked international law firm is seeking a Planning Solicitor from the newly qualified through to three years' PQE level to join its Planning team which is one of the largest in the UK. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time (four days per week) permanent basis with flexible working options accommodated and although Cardiff based offers hybrid working as standard.

The Role

As Planning Solicitor in this team, you would:
- Work as part a national cross-office team providing advice on some of the most high profile development projects in the UK. This includes nationally significant infrastructure projects, renewable energy projects and residential-led urban regeneration projects, predominantly acting for private clients including national energy utilities, HS2, water and sewerage undertakers, and national housebuilders.
- You would also provide advice on Environmental Impact Assessment issues, planning appeals and inquiries, planning due diligence on corporate and real estate acquisitions and disposals, compulsory purchase and compensation, parliamentary advice, town and village greens and listed building and conservation area issues.

About You

To be successful in your application for this Planning Solicitor vacancy, you will have:
- 0-3 years' PQE in planning with at least a strong training seat in planning or otherwise a convincing argument for wanting to work in this area of law.
- A strong academic background.
- A good teamwork ethic.
- Client focused approach.
