Private Client Solicitor (Senior) – Shrewsbury – £50,000 - £60,000
A senior private client opportunity has arisen within a small traditional practice in Shrewsbury. Due to the retirement of the private client partner who has held the position for over 20 years our client is seeking to appoint somebody who is able to assist/handle the caseload and running of a small private client department. This is a full-time (4 days considered) permanent role based in Shrewsbury. The firm is offering free onsite parking and a competitive salary of between 50-60k.
Our client is a well-established law firm in Shropshire who have a fantastic track record of retaining staff with people having worked with them for 20 years plus! They are a traditional practice now looking for a senior private client solicitor who can hit the ground running on an array of matters to include, wills, LPA's, estate administration etc with limited supervision. The current incumbent will be retiring early next year and as such there will be a nice hand over of the department from him to the new recruit.
You will be a private client solicitor with at least 10 years PQE who is used to working with files as opposed to paperless. Client contact is key and as such our client is looking for someone who can be based in the office at least 4 days a week and can offer one home working day.
