The Client
We are working with a leading investment manager who is looking for a financial regulatory lawyer to join their dedicated in-house regulatory legal team.
The role provides a significant degree of autonomy, cross-border work, effective work life balance, interfacing with senior stakeholders and offers a great total benefits.
The Role
You will be advising the business and transactional legal teams as a regulatory lawyer on a range of legal matters affecting the UK/EU. You will be looking at regulations such as MiFID II, EMIR, MiFIR, the FCA handbook etc.
Your responsibilities will be to:
• Interpret and analyse existing and upcoming legislation, regulatory policy developments and assessing its impact on the organisation.
• Advise the senior stakeholders in relation to the interpretation and implementation of new regulations developments.
• Providing training to the business on new regulatory developments.
• Liaising with and instructing external counsel when required.
