Calling all Commercial Litigators! Have you considered a move in-house?

I'm working with a global business which is offering the opportunity for a Commercial Litigation lawyer to join the team, offering substantial development and the chance to re-tool in non-contentious matters for a career in-house.

With offices based in Manchester and Birmingham, this position is open to lawyers based in one of these locations, combined with substantial home-working.

This position would suit a Commercial Litigation Lawyer seeking to take on a varied in-house opportunity, gaining new skills whilst utilising your contentious background.

The Role

The Legal Counsel will work closely with the General Counsel to support the business on a range of commercial matters, including:

* Drafting and negotiation of various commercial agreements, including cross border client services agreements.
* Advising and supporting on technology and intellectual property issues.
* Advising and supporting on legal issues affecting communications (including advertising, online trading, confidentiality and privacy).
* There is also the opportunity to develop your skill set on commercial litigation and compliance matters (including anti-bribery and anti-corruption law, competition law, data protection law, public procurement law, security industry specific regulation).

The Person

This position is open to lawyers from a variety of backgrounds seeking to develop in a broad in-house commercial role. The General Counsel is very much on hand for career development and is well-suited to upskilling the successful candidate in the relevant areas.
