Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – All Remote Working – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella – Thames Valley

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are urgently recruiting for a Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join a Local Authority in Thames Valley.

This assignment will be for an initial period of 3 months subject to likely possible extension thereafter. The role will be worked on a fully remote basis for the foreseeable. The client is seeking someone on a full time basis however part time candidates possessing the right experience will be considered.

The ideal candidate would be a Qualified Solicitor or Barrister who is able to handle a complex mixed caseload including matters including consultancy contracts, contracts for goods and JCT, IT contracts as well as giving general contracts and procurement advice.Additional work will likely include reviewing framework agreements and giving advice on frameworks; partnership agreements; grant funding agreements and funding agreements relating to release of s106 funding; deeds of variation/novation of contracts and other contract work as needed.

This candidate should also have extensive professional experience gained within Local Government or Private Practice.

An attractive hourly rate between £50 - £60 Umbrella is offered for this position dependant on experience.
