Housing Management/Property Litigation Paralegal

A leading UK law firm with offices located throughout the country, are looking for a Housing Management/Property Litigation paralegal based in their Leeds office. The role is permanent.

The role will involve providing advice and assistance to Registered Providers of Social Housing and private landlords in a broad range of matters, including possession proceedings based on rent arrears, breach of tenancy, anti-social behaviour and unauthorised occupiers, injunction proceedings, disrepair claims and claims against leaseholders including forfeiture.

Specific duties include (but are not limited to): drafting and preparing claim forms, preparing trial bundles, liaising with Court prior to trial, and assisting with general paralegal and administrative tasks in an effective and timely manner.

Candidates must possess excellent academics, including a good law degree, successful or near completion of the LPC, and excellent IT and organisational skills.

Relevant and significant experience in Housing Management and Property Litigation is preferable, but candidates with general, solid paralegal experience will be considered.
